Mom is home from the hospital and recovering well, though we made her laugh too many times, which I’m sure hurts. But all that stress sought release in laughter. Denial? Maybe. Coping? Definitely.
The preliminary news is good – no cancer in the lymph nodes! Woohoo! The bad news: radiation is still on the horizon. The C-word when applied to any family member is pretty darn scary. Enough already.
